Production Going Smoothly!

Hi there folks!
We hope your week is going swimmingly! We don't have too much to share today - while this might be disappointing, this is actually good news. We're full-steam ahead, haven't encountered any road bumps, and will continue to work on the book as well as the merchandise!
If you're a frequent Wraithmarked backer, first off - thank you! Secondly, you may be aware from other campaigns that we've changed printers this past year (as well as Non-US fulfillment partners; we've been terribly busy). We cannot say how big of a shift in the right direction this was for us, and we're thrilled this project will be done by the new facility.
Because we're working with a different printer, some operations will have shifted a bit compared to some of our older campaigns. Namely, we'll be getting proofs much earlier! YAY!
Be on the lookout for more production updates in the coming months. We'll be sharing interior art, case designs, and everything in between!

Today is a great day! We've received the prototypes for the enamel pins and they look GORGEOUS. Take a look!
He's big and chonky and shiny and we love him. We hope you do, too!
From here on out, we'll start ordering the rest of the merchandise and then the finals for this enamel pin run. Once we get those orders placed, we'll let you folks know!

Prototype Pins Ordered!

Hey there everyone!
While designing the book is underway, behind the scenes, we're going to start off by ordering the prototype pins for this campaign! Typically, this process takes about a 1-2 months to manufacture, freight, and receive (a little extra time, just due to the size and complexity of this design in particular). Once we get these prototypes in, we'll assess them and make changes (if needed). We'll also share pics of them with you folks!
From there, we'll then order the final run with a slight overhead to account for any late pledges, then these can be marked off our list of To-Dos!

We wanted to take a moment to do a quick intro! While interacting with us here on Kickstarter or via our support email, the majority of the time, you'll be chatting with two people!
Hi! I'm Eira!
I am in charge of coordinating the campaigns and fulfillment for nearly everything Wraithmarked does. I came to Wraithmarked a little over 3 years ago after spending more than a decade as your friendly neighborhood IT gal. Most days, I can scarcely believe it's real. But here I am, with all you fine people, eagerly waiting to get my hands on this and every book we make. :)
A couple of quick things about me. I've written a cyberpunk novel, published tabletop RPG, and occasionally play the bass guitar for local charity events. When I'm not being a total dork, I collect bumps and bruises skating with a local roller derby team under the name 'Tryst Issues'.
Hey there! I'm Heather!
In addition to helping out my benevolent overlor- Eira, I'm also head of the Wildcrown brand! You'll likely talk to me if you check out these updates, send us a support message here on Kickstarter, or a ticket via email. I also help with coordinating our Kickstarter campaigns and fulfillment, and in between all of that, I also design our enamel pins! Being able to work creatively has been such a blessing - I love what I do. <3
Within Wraithmarked, I'm a bit of a nerd. Outside of Wraithmarked... also a nerd. I work part-time for funsies at my local anime store and have my own illustration business that allows me to travel to different conventions and meet some truly fantastic con-goers and fellow artists alike! I build Zoids model kits, play too many video games, collect trinkets, and dote on my cats, Soren, Taro, and Edgar.

We bring all this up to let you all know that when you interact with us, you're talking to real people who have been involved with the creative process from start to finish. It's super important that your experience with us is a good one. While we can't promise completely smooth sailing— manufacturing and distribution are tricky businesses— we will do our best to keep y'all informed as the process progresses.
