NON PLEDGE OVER TIME BACKERS: This Update is for You! First Round of Surveys Going Out!

Hey there, folks!
Since the smoke test was a success, we'll be sending out surveys today! This only affects those who OPTED OUT for Pledge Over Time, as those payments should have just been completed! It may take a little bit for Backerkit to process they surveys being sent, maybe even a few days, so we appreciate your patience!
If you do not see your invite email show up by the end of next week, please take a look at the following:
Spam Folder: Survey emails can occasionally find their way to your spam folder. If you don't see anything come through from Backerkit check your spam folder first.
Apple ID EmailAddresses: If the email address tied to your Kickstarter account is a secure Apple ID address, the survey email may be blocked entirely. The email addresses look something like this: "[email protected]". If you're not seeing the email from Backerkit, check to see if your email address looks like one of these. If it does, we recommend that you first change that email in Kickstarter so you avoid any future issues.
Once you've checked both of those things send us a message here or send an email to [email protected] to let us know what your updated email address is.
If you opted in for Pledge Over Time and are reading this update...
You will not receive your survey at this time. Your payments will still be processing for another couple of months. We will communicate via update when you should expect to receive yours!
If you are a Late-Pledge backer (you didn't back the project while the campaign was live)...
You will not receive a survey as all the necessary information we need is collected upon check-out!
Going Forward
Here is what you can expect in the coming months as we work on fulfilling this project.
First, please remember that we operate on a 12-14 month production and fulfillment schedule.
As we get all of the products made, you can expect to see an update from us one to two times a month. So stay tuned here for all the latest!
Once we have the products and are ready to start fulfillment, we will post an update and send an email giving everyone 48 hours to update their addresses if needed. Once that window closes, you will not be able to update your address yourself and will need to contact us directly to make those changes.
With addresses locked, we will start packing and shipping. This final step will take some time. We appreciate your patience. ❤️

There are 1-2 of us who monitor support emails. We'll introduce ourselves in a future update, but for the moment, we want to fill y'all in on our availability.

Hi there folks!
This update is only for folks who did not opt-in for Pledge Over Time.
We're just about ready to start sending out surveys to backers who did not opt-in for Pledge Over Time. The last piece of that process is what's called a 'smoke test'. To do this, we send out surveys to about 5% of backers to make sure everything in Backerkit is working as it should and that we haven't broken anything. We'll be conducting this test over the next couple of days, so those 5% of surveys will go out today. If everything goes well, you can expect the rest of the surveys to go out by Wednesday or Thursday at the latest!
While we do that, here are a couple of things to keep in mind:

If either of the above situations is the case, or you can't find your email invite at all, please email [email protected]to let us know, and we'll get that straightened out for you. To expedite the process, please provide us with your name, backer number, or the AppleID email address so we can locate your account!
If you send us a message on Kickstarter, we may request that you send the message to our support email instead. Thank you.

Pledge Over Time - 2nd Payment!
We wanted to check in to let all the Pledge Over Time folks that they should be expecting to see the second of three charges for their pledge today or in the next few days. There will be one final payment after this on or around April 27th. Once those have been completed, we'll be sending surveys out to all Pledge Over Time backers. We expect that to happen on or around April 27th, as well.

Please be aware that the times mentioned above are estimates. We try to stick to them as much as possible, but sometimes it takes an extra day or two to move on to the next phase of the process.

THE ULTIMATE HITCHHIKER'S GUIDE TO THE GALAXY OMNIBUS
This one seemed like something a lot of you guys might like to be aware of!
On May 5th, Wraithmarked will be releasing what we believe could be considered the most ambitious omnibus edition of Douglas Adam's THE HITCHHIKER'S GUIDE TO THE GALAXY series ever produced.
As in not only is it a full-color book, but it's going to include 42 full-color illustrations. And that's JUST the interior art. So add in the Smyth-sewn binding. And acid-free paper. And custom covers. And end sheets. And cloth wrapping. And... Well... You get the picture.
There's more detail and a LOT more art revealed on the pre-launch page, so take a look if it interests any of you guys! As always, this will be a single-print run with campaign exclusive discounts, so Kickstarter is the only place you can guarantee your copy and get it at a discount!

MOVING FORWARD...
Here is what you can expect in the coming weeks and months.
First, Kickstarter will begin processing payments for your pledges. That will take approximately 2 weeks. If you did not use Pledge Over Time, this will be the full amount of your pledge. If you opted to use Pledge Over Time, this will be the first 1/3rd of your total pledge.
If you selected Pledge Over Time, your second payment will be on or around March 27th, followed by your third and final payment on or around April 27th.
Once the final payment has been made for Pay Over Time backers, we will send out all surveys to the email addresses you have attached to your Kickstarter account. We expect this to occur by or around April 27th.
Answer your survey questions and grab any extra Add-Ons you want. For those of you asking how to make your tier selections, you'll do that here. Due to the shipping beta test, shipping will be charged at this time.

In case you missed it on the campaign page, we are beta testing something new for this project (and likely for the rest of 2026)!
We've gotten a range of feedback over the last year about how to make our books more accessible to everyone, and one of the most common places we hear we could make a simple change is by charging shipping later so that it's an additional opportunity to split the product costs.
All shipping and handling fees will be processed on BackerKit when you fill out your backer survey, which will be sent out 2-3 weeks after the campaign ends.
THIS WILL NOT CHANGE THE SHIPPING COST. We have outlined what every item's shipping will be post-campaign below so you can account for it immediately!

Second Stretch Goal Smashed!

The second stretch goal has officially been crossed - woohoo!
With the $50k mark surpassed, each of the books will now be printed on 90GSM paper stock! This will ensure greater durability and resilience for even the most enthusiastic of readers. If you're a more gentle reader, then you'll appreciate the lush quality of the pages, especially paired with a soft blanket and a cozy reading nook!
Next up is the $100k stretch goal! Once we make it here, we'll unlock one additional black and white illustration for the interior. Who doesn't love extra art??
